Sidy Sangare, a master drummer from Mali, began learning djembe at age 7. He has performed with Mali’s National Ballet and renowned artists like Baba Maal, Salif Keita, and Miriam Makeba. Passionate and inspiring, Sidy brings the vibrant rhythms of West Africa to life as both performer and teacher.

MAMA AFRICA BAND
Formed in 2011 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Juvenail King Acoustic Band specializes in vibrant Rumba rhythms. Since relocating to Cape Town in 2015, they’ve captivated audiences with soulful, energetic performances that celebrate their Congolese roots and create unforgettable musical experiences.
